My studio wet room shares with you my art work creativity, so its all work in progress.
My sketch book and translation to a Wockamaloo or canvas.
I work primarily with Acrylic, but also mixed media, depending on the material I have in place. I am always trying different styles of working and materials.
Please remember, I started my art in November 2011 for the first time, being self taught I make mistakes, but how wonderful they are!
I also provide hands on art classes - always fun; Wockamaloo bottle painting, Abstract Art including a projected slide show set to music.
new artworks underway (some wet) that will be exhibited later this year, called the ART of Hugging and Expressionism
10/7/2019 started painting at Bafa Evening Art Class where members invited to share and develop
In preparing my recycled materials for painting I use Gesso.
Gesso is an important art supply to get your canvas ready for painting. You can buy gesso readymade from any art supply shop. Gesso is very similar to white acrylic paint, only thinner. It dries hard, making the surface more stiff.
